This photo has a lot of detail and good composition. The texture of the pole and tree is rough, and it was enhanced using clarity and texture in Camera Raw Filter. The photo follows the rule of thirds as well. The telephone pole, which is the focal point, is pushed slightly off to the left, and this satisfies the conception of not having the focal point in the center. The tree branches create a lot of negative space as the branches overlapped. The shapes they create are negative spaces. The branches also create lines that cross and are at different lengths and thickness. This photo was taken on an iPhone 8 camera, but it can be compared to one off of a DSLR camera. If it was taken on a regular camera, the ISO would be 100 because it is very bright and sunny. The white balance would be set to daytime, and the shutter speed would be 1" because it isn't too fast or too blurry. The aperture of the photo would have been f/11 because almost the whole photo is in focus, which means the lens would use a smaller opening. This photo is the best because of the differing camera angle than most of the other photos. The way that this photo was taken from a lower point-of-view looking up into the sky allows the viewer to follow up the pole to where the lights are. The blueish color adds a sense of serenity and brightness to the seemingly dark foreground for contrast. |
